1 Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Franz ("I", "me", or "Developer") collects, uses, and shares information when you use my mobile applications and related services (collectively, the "Apps"). By using my Apps, you agree to the practices described here.

2 Information I Collect

Information You Provide

Content you create (notes, settings, data) is stored locally on your device or, if you enable iCloud sync, in your personal iCloud account. I do not have access to this content.

Automatically Collected Information

Depending on the App, I may collect limited diagnostic and usage data including:

• Crash reports and error logs (to fix bugs)
• Anonymous usage statistics such as feature frequency (to improve the App)
• Device type, OS version, and App version

What I Do NOT Collect

• Your name, email address, or contact details (unless you contact me directly)
• Location data (unless the App's core feature requires it and you explicitly grant permission)
• Contacts, photos, or other sensitive device data (unless required for a specific opted-in feature)
• Advertising identifiers or tracking data for third-party advertising

3 How I Use Your Information

Information I collect is used solely to: provide and maintain App functionality; diagnose and fix crashes; understand which features are popular; and respond to support requests. I do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

4 iCloud and Data Sync

Some Apps offer optional iCloud sync. If enabled, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. I cannot access your iCloud data.

5 Third-Party Services

Some Apps may use limited third-party services for crash reporting or analytics, configured to collect aggregate and anonymized data. I do not integrate advertising networks, social media trackers, or data brokers. The only potential third-party analytics source is Apple's built-in analytics — only if you opt in via your iOS/macOS Settings.

6 Data Retention

Crash reports and anonymous analytics are retained for up to 12 months, then deleted. Email correspondence is retained only as long as necessary to resolve your issue.

7 Children's Privacy

My Apps are not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact me and I will promptly delete it.

8 Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to: access data I hold about you; request deletion of your data; opt out of analytics collection via your device's privacy settings. Contact me at the address below to exercise these rights.

9 California (CCPA)

I do not sell personal information. California residents may request disclosure of information collected about them by contacting me at the email below.

10 European Users (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA, the legal basis for processing any personal data is legitimate interest (App performance and stability). You have the right to erasure, portability, and objection to processing. Contact me to exercise these rights.

11 Security

I take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

12 Changes to This Policy

I may update this policy from time to time. When I do, I will revise the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
